It forces us to connect to our family, friends, and community before we're gone. Time is our most valuable resource. We can always make more money if given time. Find friends if given time. Connect if given time. What could be more precious than time?
Attention.
How often do we sit with friends at a restaurant, checking our phones? How often do we slog through meetings, multi-tasking, or daydreaming?
We have a finite amount of time in the world. But an even smaller amount of attention to spend.
