Is knowledge everything?
Hey, it’s Anwell, and this is Soft Power Leaders, by Brantio. We help brilliant women in Biotech and Pharma gain influence.
2,300 years ago, people dreamed of exploring the Library of Alexandria to learn, share ideas, and bring back knowledge that would transform their community. The library's estimated 400,000 ancient scrolls were the true treasures of the ancient world. Only a select few could access them.
Now, over a billion people can access even more knowledge at a push of a button. As of 2021, the English language version of Wikipedia has over 6,312,637 articles, while non-English Wikipedias have over 55,000,000 articles.
We have access to more information than the greatest kings and queens in history. However, is knowledge everything? How often do we search for more information to avoid making hard decisions? Find 20 different ways to create an effective presentation and slides instead of talking to executives face to face about the points of conflict?
It's the hard things that make a difference. How do you make sure that you and your team are working on the hard things?
Thanks for listening! Now go make it happen.
